Things I learned this weekend while driving down to/at the coast for a wedding.

1.  Smoke or steam coming from under the hood is bad.  As is that noise.  Yes, that one.

So I caught the lurgie that's going around the pilgrims, and caught it bad.  For a couple of days I thought that the aches in my limbs were from walking, the weird hot-and-cold flashes were from the changing temperatures,  the nausea from the nasty food.  I suppose the sore throat could have been from the yelling and singing, and the headache from ( Read more... )

My day: Paraguay gets along with Samoa really, really well, music is a language that transcends nations, and nobody likes those snooty Fench bastards because they won't sing with us.

HELP HELP I LOST A BET LOST A FIGHT WITH A LAWNMOWER FELL ON A PAIR OF SCISSORS WOKE UP AND MY HAIR WAS ALL GONE.

In other words, holy cow that is very short.

Paraguayan billets OK.  (One speaks English, several others understand a little English, the rest are great at charades).

Sharing a room with "Woe, the single lone pimple on my forehead under my fringe has ruined my week!" sister?  ASS.  The time to flirt with boys loudly on the phone is not while I am sleeping.
